About Our Patient Education Programs for the General Public
General Information
Within our service area of Columbia, Dutchess,
Green, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties in the Mid-Hudson Valley of
New York State, we periodically offer free educational programs for the
general public. These 1 - 2 hour programs
are offered in partnership with co-sponsoring community organizations. Information regarding
co-sponsorship and program content is provided
below.
Program Offerings Outside of Our Service Area
We would be open to the co-sponsorship of programs beyond our service area -- more particularly, within the
northeastern states of the country. The extra costs of doing so,
however, would necessitate discussions of program fees.
Co-Sponsorship
Information
Regarding
Program Content
While the intent
is to open these educational programs to the general public, we will be
happy to work with co-sponsoring organizations to develop programs that
they feel would more closely meet the needs of their clientele. This
means that, in addition to modifying our current program offerings, we
would be amenable to the development of programs on other partnership
topics for patients, their families and other advocates.
Regarding
Division of Responsibilities…
We are asking
co-sponsors to be responsible for securing a place in which to conduct
the program(s) and for any necessary site insurance. In addition, we
ask co-sponsors to be responsible for advertising the event, both with
respect to placement of ads, mailings, flyers, and so on. The Healthcare
Communication Project, on its part, would expect to develop and conduct
the program(s), provide participants with program materials, provide
camera-ready flyers/announcements, and handle program registration.
Inquiries regarding co-sponsorship of our
patient-education programs for the general public may be directed to us
via the form, below. And thank you for your interest.
