Other #1: Patient Safety in Hospitals

Other #2: The lack of humanistic care for emotional concerns during procedures. Healthcare workers are too conditions to the daily grind. It is a job for them and they have lost the humanistic compassion for the patient. The common answer is “this is routine” don’t let it bother you. What is routine for them may feel like a crisis to the patient. I recently had to have a colonoscopy. It was humiliating for me and I was very nervous and embarrassed. They acted as if it was no big deal. For them maybe not. For me it was traumatic.
