Envisioning a healthcare system where patients who want to be active participants in their healthcare will be encouraged and supported by the healthcare professionals who provide that care, our focus is to help both patients and healthcare professionals build relationships and the shared-decisionmaking skills of getting, giving, discussing information and making health decisions. We are a not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation whose service area covers Columbia, Dutchess, Green, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties of New York's Mid-Hudson Valley.
Regardless of where they live, visitors to this site will find articles and other sources of information for learning about diseases and conditions; treatment options; communication techniques and more.
